My Husband's Tumor

First comes love, then comes a brain tumor.

I couldn’t will Aaron’s brain not to have cancer, but I could will a human being to form inside of me.

Tucked inside of a Father’s Day card, my father would mistake this photo of his future grandchild for Aaron’s brain tumor. They do bear a certain resemblance, but not for long.
